Maintenance Officer

Job Description

The Maintenance Officer will provide a wide range of administrative support to the management of GS Department in logistics, procurement, transportation, maintenance and contracting issues.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and seek solutions (in consultation with the management) for all issues of General Services Department.
  • Develop and maintain a variety of reports related to GS Dept.
  • Collect and maintain statistical data for financial, administrative and management reporting matters.
  • Assist in preparing outgoing correspondence, answering queries, filing, reporting and other associated tasks. 
  • Ensure proper maintenance of office administrative files, contracts and records and that the data is entered into the relevant system and files properly.
  • Ensure that the transactions related to GS Dept are properly recorded and entered into the relevant database.
  • Take care of requests for tickets, hotel reservation, stationery, supply/order and other necessary administrative documents in accordance with requirement of the office.
  • Provide logistical support for meetings, conferences or trainings.
  • Keeping record of all services & materials purchased by the GS dept.
  • Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely preparation, review, processing and filling of variety of purchasing, maintenance, filing, contracts and service personnel work-schedule related documents.
  • Manage the filling, storage and security of GS files and documents.
  • Liaison with government offices and contractors/suppliers.
  • Other job-related tasks as assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

  • University degree (BBA, Economics).
  • High School graduation, University degree will be preferred.
  • 2+ year experience in the field of Administration or General Services.
  • Past experience in Banking will be an advance.
  • Good written/verbal skill in Afghan local languages as well as in English.
  • Good computer literacy.
