Shariah Board (SB)

The operations, activities and services of the Islamic banking must be according to the Shariah principles. The Shariah board has the specific duty and responsibilities to oversee and assess the banking operations, services and products offered by the Islamic bank to its customers. The AUB Shariah Board is an independent body, that oversees the procedures and processes of the bank’s Islamic operations ensuring that they are in line with Shariah guidelines and they are appointed to give decree/fatwa about the newly developed products and play a crucial role in the effective Shariah related matters by which plays a fundamental role in ensuring and enhancing the credibility of the bank.
