Informing customers and protecting their rights is a strategic investment that can significantly enhance a business’s operations and customer relations. Such seminars provide an opportunity to inform customers about their rights, such as the right to safety, right to information, right to choose, right to be heard, right to seek redressal and right to consumer education. This knowledge empowers customers to make informed decisions and lead to improve customer satisfaction and build trust. This leads to stronger customer relationships and loyalty.
The Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) has taken one initiative to organize one of such awareness training in the Head office of Afghan United Bank on 27/4/1403 which included participation by the Senior Management, Middle Management & all the Branch Managers of the Bank branches.
The introductory address of the seminar has been made by Mr. Shafiqullah Barez, Deputy General Manager of Da Afghanistan Bank, followed by an detailed presentation on the principles, concepts, guidelines, and best practices for safeguarding customer rights and addressing customer complaints. The seminar also included the address by Honorable Mohsen Akbari, Director and Honorable Khalid Wahedi, Deputy General Director of Financial Services Development. They emphasized the Bank to demonstrate its commitment to transparency and fair practices, discussing customer rights that shows that the Bank values its customers and is willing to address their needs, enhancing customer satisfaction, reducing complaints and staying compliant. The seminar also focused informing customers and protecting their rights are a valuable tool for banks to educate their customers, enhance satisfaction, promote transparency, reduce complaints, and maintain compliance with consumer protection laws.
The seminar had concluding remarks from Honorable Mr. Shafiullah Mohammadi, Director of Public Awareness, Honorable Mr. Hasibullah Noori, Spokesperson of the Central Bank. Honorable Mr. Hayatullah Tofan; and respected Mr. Mohammad Hilal.
