Job Description        
The IT Management Risk officer role supports the Chief Risk Officer/Deputy Chief Risk Officer to evaluate the effectiveness of the IT risk program across the bank’s operations and suggest mitigation through implementing the IT risk management framework and work plan.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for identification and mitigation of IT risks by conducting risk assessment and recommend mitigating controls for the identified IT risks.
  2. Periodic review of activity logs / audit trails of the various bank IT systems and privileged accounts.
  3. Support the line manager in IT Risk in checking and ensuring closure of technology related Audit issues.
  4. IT Key risk indicator monitoring.
  5. Ensure that correct IT functionality requirements and standards are addressed at the time of assessment.
  6. Ability to identify gaps in the skills matrix for the IT related departments and advising plan of action to eliminate any skills gaps in IT related staff.
  7. Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
  8. Responsible for supervision & evaluating of network performance issues.
  9. Identifying gaps for securing network through assessment of network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation, & maintaining documentation.
  10. Evaluate and identity risk issue related to the database technologies, database integrity and security
  11. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, & related application administration and monitoring.
  12. Adequate knowledge about operations of the ATM.
  13. Adequate knowledge of flex cube direct/internet banking, Islamic banking and help desk/support functions.
  14. Perform any other duties as assigned by CRO and/or Deputy CRO from time to time.

Job Requirement      
  • Bachelor’s degree in BCS, Master degree is preferred.
  • At least 2 years banking IT experience which includes IT, CBS, & E-banking or 3 Years in general IT.
  • Adequate knowledge about standards for computer and network devices.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Strong skills in identifying and detecting the risks, involved in the various aspects of the bank IT dept.
  • Ability to use MS-Office packages
  • Good team working skills.
  • English fluency in both spoken and written
  • Being professional, punctual, disciplined and hard worker.
