Job Description
Information Technology Support Team Leader is responsible for supervision of IT support team activities. Stay updated with system information, changes and latest developments. Monitor and assign tickets and urgency levels in the helpdesk to support personnel.
Duties & Responsibilities
IT Service Platform Specific:
1. Install, configure and maintain windows operating systems.
2. Install, configure and administer Microsoft threat management gateway and other proxy applications.
3. Maintain and administer Microsoft file server services.
4. Install and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and DHCP server services.
IT Service in General:
1. Supervise daily activities of Support Team personnel and advise on priority.
2. Monitor and assign tickets and urgency levels in the helpdesk to support personnel.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve trouble tickets related to technical difficulties with hardware, software and Operating systems.
4. Work closely with infrastructure, database, and development personnel to resolve end user issues.
5. Develop and document Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for all processes of the support teams.
6. Constantly monitor processes and contribute towards process improvement on an ongoing basis.
7. Maintain records of system fixes and refer it for issue resolution in future
8. Conduct performance appraisals for the team, identifying areas that require coaching and mentoring to develop the subordinate.
9. Research questions using available information resources.
10. Follow standard help desk procedures.
11. Track and route problems and requests.
12. Stay updated with system information, changes and latest developments.
13. Any other role assigned by IT Manager
Job Requirement
· Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration.
· 2-3 years of experience in trouble shooting and other IT related issues.
· IT certifications in MCSE, CCNA, and CCNP.
· Strong knowledge of software, hardware, and networking protocols.
